Project Studios

Project Studios is an art services and co-working company for the creative field with locations in Hoboken and Jersey City, New Jersey. Creative individuals and startup businesses may rent a studio or join one of their membership programs. The Hoboken location is comprised of private and semi-private studios for art and music, with as well-equipped shops for ceramics, photography, warm glass, printmaking, and woodworking in 33,000 sq. ft. of the historic Neumann Leathers factory complex.

The Jersey City location in Bergen-Lafayette features a 1500 sq. ft. metal sculpture shop, private and semi-private studios for visual artists, and a gallery-critique space housed in an 8000 sq. ft. floor of a former textile warehouse.

They provide a wide array of shared tools, such as kilns, welding machines, photography strobes, and air compressors. All of these would represent a significant cost to an individual artist but members may use any shared shop free of charge.

Project Studios believes art can be profitable for individuals within their studio practice. By providing inexpensive space, equipped shops, shared workspaces, and exhibition opportunities, artists can function as professionals, even without substantial income.
