Accessibility Statement
We want everyone who visits JerseyArts.com to feel welcome and to find the experience rewarding. As part of this ambition, ArtPride New Jersey is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for anyone with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience and applying relevant accessibility standards.
What we are doing
To help make JerseyArts.com a positive experience for all users, we have been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, which explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user-friendly for everyone. We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for JerseyArts.com.
We have also taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Images have the appropriate alternative text.
- Our site is fully functional using a keyboard alone.
- Our site is compatible with modern screen readers.
Conformance status
The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are working hard to achieve and maintain our goal of Level AA accessibility; however, we realize some areas still need improvement. We will prioritize those issues that have the highest impact for most users.
