George Street Playhouse

For more than 50 years, George Street Playhouse (GSP) has been a beacon of artistic excellence, producing compelling, thought-provoking performances that resonate with audiences of all ages. From riveting dramas to heartwarming comedies, our stage has been a canvas for the exploration of the human condition.

GSP is located within the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, featuring two state-of-the-art theatre spaces—The Arthur Laurents Theater with 253 seats and The Elizabeth Ross Johnson Theater which seats 465—and myriad amenities.

In addition, GSP offers a range of educational opportunities for both youth and adults interested in honing their artistic talents. With experienced industry professionals providing guidance, GSP is a great place to develop skills and pursue a passion for theater.
