Bread & Roses Film Festival

Bread & Roses Film Festival (BRFF) supports, elevates, and celebrates the unique and diverse voices of female filmmakers. Female voices have long been (and continue to be) on the sidelines of mainstream cinema.

BRFF centers female voices by curating spaces to showcase films written, directed, and/or produced by women and cultivating artist communities committed to building industry relationships, fostering mentorship, and inviting collaboration. BRFF uses the most inclusive definition of female/woman.

All festival film screenings occur at the Showroom Cinema – a female-owned and operated independent movie theatre – in downtown Asbury Park.

BRFF is an officially sponsored project of Precipice Collective, a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
