HAIRITAGE OF HOME blends photography and textiles to celebrate and pay homage to Yoruba culture. Displaying all aspects of life and focusing deeply on the beauty and culture of hairstyling, Kehinde calls on his upbringing watching his mother work as a hairstylist to create art that centers the physical image of natural beauty. The opening reception will be hosted 5,500 miles away from Kehinde and live-streamed with a two-way screen display.

Samuel Kehinde Adebayo is a Nigeria-based photographer focused on concepts of cultural identity and Yoruba heritage. Born and raised in Nigeria, his work is a reflection of the love he has for his homeland and an invitation to his fellow Nigerians to reconnect to their roots.
