Jeff Feeny was born in Oxford, Pennsylvania, USA, in 1963, and currently resides in Marlton, New Jersey, USA. He is a contemporary mixed media abstract painter renowned for his innovative use of materials and unique artistic vision. He specializes in mixed media, employing collage techniques alongside acrylic paint and 3D objects to create visually captivating artworks. He is best known for his abstract designs characterized by rich texture juxtaposed with flat graphic lines and shapes. In my journey through the various art genres, I have evolved into abstract art.  It is a fusion of artistic expression from my emotions, reflecting what is felt rather than observed.  My art does not represent anything but is concerned with color, texture, line and form and the sacred empty space.  

The work always starts with a tabula rasa and develops along aesthetic and emotional parameters leading to the completed harmonious and subjective experience left to the interpretation of the viewer.

Small details permeate throughout my works and are very personal to me.  Each painting is covered with many images, various marks as possible throughout the process and then edited, subtracting and reapplying in the hope of reaching harmony of noise and solitude and a satisfactory conclusion and call it finished.  Sometime this resolve can go on for hours or days and longer until it has been reached.  I am most content when I am painting - it brings me joy.
