GPYO 65th Anniversary Concert

Featuring GPYO's Concert and Symphonic Orchestras as well as Cassidy Shae,  Winner of the 2024–2025 Maestro Matteo Giammario Concerto Competition.

The concert will include Farandole, by Bizet, Themes from Scheherazade, by Rimsky-Korsakov, Bacchanale, by Saint Saens, Oblivion, by Astor Piazzolla, and Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel featuring professional accordionist, Klajdi Cerriku, performed by the GPYO’s Concert Orchestra under the baton of Judith Morse.

GPYO’s Symphonic Orchestra will perform Les Preludes, after Lamartine by Franz Liszt; Adagio from the film Spartacus, composed by Aram Khachaturian, and the aforementioned Cello Concerto No.1 in C major by Joseph Haydn, conducted by Joseph Pucciatti.
