Since 2004, the South Jersey Jazz Society has been dedicated to advancing America’s unique art form—jazz—through performance, education, and community engagement in Somers Point and throughout southern New Jersey. With a thriving membership of more than 350 supporters, the Society celebrates the rich legacy of jazz while nurturing new generations of listeners and musicians.
From concerts and festivals to school partnerships and educational programs, the Society creates opportunities for everyone to experience the joy of jazz. Members enjoy discounted or complimentary admission to select events, while every program welcomes the public to share in the music. In addition, the Society supports local schools by funding music and creative arts programs, ensuring that young people in the community have access to the arts.
