Gardenship

Gardenship is an inclusive artist-led interdisciplinary makerspace founded in 2019 located in a two-acre warehouse. They provide dynamic art programming to foster creative exchange, exploration, and the creation of new artworks in Hudson County.

They offer a crucial and unique set of opportunities for artists that cannot be found in a single institution anywhere else. Gardenship’s space and facilities, including a wood shop, metal shop, welding, and iron forge, allow for creation on a massive scale and across countless disciplines.

Gardenship offers free public events throughout the year, robust financial aid for workshops, and artist residencies. Located in an ADA-compliant facility, Gardenship is a creative hub that’s uniquely designed to support large sculptural artworks and installations.
