Jersey Arts Marketers

What is JAM?
Jersey Arts Marketers (JAM) is a group comprised of administrators from New Jersey-based arts organizations that work cooperatively toward furthering the Discover Jersey Arts (DJA) programís statewide audience development goals.

To be a part of the JAM network, an organization must meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. Be a direct grantee of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts
2. Be a member of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance
3. Be a member of ArtPride New Jersey

If you do not currently meet one of the first two criteria, you can always choose to join ArtPride in order to take advantage of JAM and other benefits.

Each regional JAM group (North, Central and South) is led by a chairperson and meets quarterly to address common issues, foster professional development, and coordinate ongoing cooperative programs. Through JAMís input and collaboration, we strive to further develop DJAís resources as an ongoing resource for both the arts community and its patrons. Participation in JAM is open to representatives from all eligible groups, and active member organizations benefit from discounts on advertising, promotional opportunities on JerseyArts.com, and in-person networking. Q: What is the Jersey Arts Member card?
A: The Jersey Arts Member card offers discounts and premiums to more than 42,000 card carrying arts patrons. There are two levels of membership -- Basic and Premium -- each with its own perks. Learn more about individual Jersey Arts Membership >>
Q:What is the Online Directory?
A: The Online Directory is a "yellow pages" listing arts organization registered with the Jersey Arts Marketers network. Each listing provides a description of the organization, their contact information, and a link to any events posted to the site associated to that organization.

For example, if the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra is performing at NJPAC, that event should be associated with both organizations so it can be linked to both in the Online Directory. Patrons can search the Online Directory by region, genre, or keyword.
