If you haven't noticed...JerseyArts.com has made a few exciting changes. We've been working hard to bring you new features which make it easier to stay in touch with New Jersey's art scene and share your passion with your friends and family.
One of the changes we are really excited about (and hope you are too!) is the ability to create customized RSS feeds which include events fitting your specific interests including genre, region and member discounts. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing various kinds of Web content. Using an RSS reader or a web based application such as Google Reader, Bloglines, Outlook, Firefox Live Bookmarks or My Yahoo!, you can subscribe to free data feeds from sources such as JerseyArts.com.
The information below will help you take full advantage of this new service. Enjoy!
Here's the 'How To'
If you don't have one already, find an RSS reader you like. Here are a few that are out there that are great...give a few a try and pick the one that works for you. If you already have one...Well, move right along onto step 2.
This is going to be really easy! Once you've set up your RSS reader go to the Events Calendar to specify what arts events and regions you are interested in, then click on the 'Customize RSS Feed' to subscribe. Or you can visit the Artist Gallery or our Podcast page to subscribe to those feeds...or you can just check out our most popular feeds above.
This is the easiest step. Now just sit back and enjoy learning about the arts scene in New Jersey.
