Thank you to all the teachers and administrators who have registered their schools for New Jersey Poetry Out Loud this year! Below you will find resources to help you prepare your students for the upcoming Regional Contest.

One winner from each school-wide competition will go on to represent their school at Regionals.

Two top winners will be selected from each of the following Regional Competition to go on to compete at the State Finals in March, 2012:

One State Champion will represent New Jersey at the National Competition in April, 2012 in Washington, D.C.

  • March 8 - Deadline for Regional champions/State Finalist forms to be submitted online for NJ State Final.

  • March 21 - NJ State POL Final

  • April - National POL Finals in Washington, D.C.
