Thank you to all the teachers and administrators who have registered their schools for New Jersey Poetry Out Loud this year! Below you will find resources to help you prepare your students for the upcoming Regional Contest.

One winner from each school-wide competition will go on to represent their school at Regionals.

Two top winners will be selected from each of the following Regional Competition to go on to compete at the State Finals in March, 2012:

• February 7, 10AM - 1PM - Region 2: Regional Poetry Recitation Contest at Two River Theater Company (snow date: February 14)
  
  
• February 9, 10AM - 1PM - Region 1: Regional Poetry Recitation Contest at Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts (snow date: February 16)
  
  
• February 15, 10AM - 1PM - Region 4: Regional Poetry Recitation Contest at Mayo Performance Arts Center (Snow date: February 27).
  
  
• February 22, 10AM - 1PM - Region 3: Regional Poetry Recitation Contest at Bergen Performing Arts Center (Snow Date: February 28).

• March 8 - Deadline for Regional champions/State Finalist forms to be submitted online for NJ State Final.
  
  
• March 21 - NJ State POL Final
  
  
• April - National POL Finals in Washington, D.C.
