NJIO's Free Symphony Concert     Bookmark and Share
New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra (NJIO) debuts its 2018-2019 season in Plainfield, NJ with a symphony concert entitled Loss & Remembrance in the resonant and historic Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church. Admission is free. NJIO’s Symphony Orchestra will perform Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 (Unfinished) as “Finished” by musicologist William Carragan. Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85, Elgar’s Mina and Granados’s Spanish Dances. NJIO’s Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Artistic Director Warren Cohen. The Intermezzo Orchestra is conducted by Brian McGowan. Members of both groups range in age from 11 to 80+.
