Nancy Lee Kern received her BA from Goucher Coller Maryland Institute of Art. She has studied at the Albright Museum School, Art Student League in New York, and Princeton University.  While living on Coventry Farm in Princeton, she began a ten-year series of animals and landscapes in pastels, etchings and sketchbooks that was shown, in part, at the Graham Gallery in New York and Merrill Lynch in Princeton.

Regarding her art, Kern states: “Nature is my companion, color is my passion. Together they become landscapes, flowers and bird's nests in oils, watercolors, pastels, lithographs and sketchbooks.”

Her work has been featured in many solo and group exhibitions and appears in numerous public and private collections nationwide.  She is a member of the Princeton Artists Alliance here in New Jersey.
