Jordan Eagles received a BA from New York University‚Äôs Gallatin School for Individualized Studies, majoring in Fine Arts, Media Studies, and Business.  Eagles received the Promise Award from the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts in 2003 and was a Hollywood Reporter Key Art Award Finalist for Best Academy Trade Ad.

Eagles explores the extremes of the body-spirit, constructing his canvases with glass pigment, metallic powders, resin and organic materials such as mammalian blood and eggshells.  Physical birth, the child's eye, projection of energy, and love and rebirth are several key themes that emerge.  Using blood as a key ingredient, he identifies the critical paradox within the recurring theme of rebirth, a spiritual regeneration essential to life but most often symbolizing physical death.  Blood helps give life to his work, in effect, allowing what had died to be reborn.  Eagles' ongoing pursuit is to create works of beauty and balance that will intrigue the mind, touch the heart and engage the viewer in philosophical discourse.

Jordan Eagles' works have been shown in numerous solo exhibitions including at the Asterisk Young Artist Project in Brooklyn, NY and the Hudson Valley Institute for Art & Photographic Resources in Peekskill, NY.  His group exhibitions include the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, Eickholt Gallery in NYC, CAVE Gallery and The Melting Pot in Brooklyn, NY, and the Limner Gallery in NYC.
