Siri Om Singh (Philip A. Adams) was born in White Plains, NY.  He grew up in Philadelphia and lived in North Carolina, Texas, and Florida. Singh is a self-taught artist who began drawing and painting from an early age. Though not formally educated in art, several artists including Gladys Crampton, Nathan Jones and Isaac Belfer mentored him. He holds a degree in Physical Education, a degree in Occupational Therapy, and a certification as a yoga instructor.

Of his work he states, “I am currently exploring new directions in my life, involving my spiritual practice and life style. These explorations are reflected in my recent work.”  Singh primarily uses pastel but also utilizes oil, pencil, ink and collage. Influences from impressionism and abstract art have affected his work including artists such as Cassatt, Picasso, Monet, Cézanne, and Leger.

Singh's work has been exhibited at numerous locations including the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie, Artworks in Trenton, New Jersey State Museum, and the Urban Word Café in Trenton. He also exhibits his work for Trenton's monthly “First Friday” celebrations at GAS (Gallery and Studio) on the second floor of the Trenton Makes Building on South Broad Street.
